Acetylene annealing and rubber hammer = teh aewseom. On a semi-related note, the same cousin whose Rover we're building cracked the intercooler on his Cobalt SS this eve, which is teh suxxor.

But, what about the stories those dents told?
Edit: although acetylene annealing is friggin sweet.

There's a character dent in the nose area of the hood I can't get out (it's a deluxe) due to where it is. I'm probably going to suggest that it stay. Beauty mark sort of thing. Also, did you see this?> http://oppositelock.jalopnik.com/current-pics-o…

Next up is POR15-ing the door frames, priming the hood and doors, then getting/making some floorboards. Around that time, I should be directing my cousin to start hand-sanding the firewall and radiator clip and we'll probably try to arrange the aluminum welding. Then we buy paint. He's going with Rover green, and has a set of early II/IIa single-light front fenders he found someone had NOS and factory painted that color. There's a kit for jerrycan brackets that moves the lights to fender-top in the mirror hole, and I made him some hinge-area mirror brackets for the relocation.
Mine's Marine Blue (88IIa SW), the other ones will probably end up Sand (109II SW), Pastel Green (88II pickup), Poppy Red (88IIa wagon), and possibly Limestone (109IIa pickup). Busted (the aforementioned 88IIa) is going back original - pickup.

I've got four brothers, and they've each got one - that's how this works. I'm oldest dude, second oldest overall.
One sister currently drives a Buick Century and has little interest in cars. Little sis is becoming a gearhead indoctrinate and wants a 924...

Between our Landie stash and that belonging to/worked on by Sean Jones of Blue Ridge Rover Works, there's quite a bit of Series Bsns in this neck of the woods - i.e. western NC. My dad almost managed to get a IIb FC with a shot frame some years back - got outbid by the one other guy who wanted it. There's a Series I or two in this neck of the woods, but it's mostly II-III.
If you manage to find yourself out this way, we could indulge your Series drooling needs pretty well.

I was in Durham for the Durham bull run last weekend and saw two series trucks and a Defender. My fiance's friend is trying to convince her to move down there and I told her I'd be totally okay with that.
